February Update!

Ok well I haven't written in a while because my dad didn't put the pictures on so I have a couple of things to talk about! Well a couple of weeks ago I had some friends come over and we had a cooking experience! We made muddie buddies and Snicker Cookies! It was lots of fun!

Then this last Friday I had a bunch of friends over and had a High School Musical 3 party! But my brother and 4 of his friends had a Rockband concert. They called themselves the Goblet of Fire! It was the FUNNIEST thing ever! We were all laughing so hard! They dressed up for it and everything! Oh my it was great! They even had nicknames for all of them! haha Here are some pictures from it!

Visiting Grandpa Ray & Sisters!

Ok well we have a family friend that has been a family friend for a really long time!! Even before I was born!! He is so nice and the cutest old man ever!!! He is so close to our family that he has been Grandpa Ray for so long! haha He has been in the hospital for like 2 months because he had something happen to him while he was in Hawaii and now he is in this rehab place recovering still so we went and visited him! We couldn't visit him very long because it was when he was eating but he is such a cute old man! And his wife is so sweet! They are like my step grandparents haha. His old wife Marjorie passed away a couple of years ago and his new wife Beth is with him and both of them were and are like family! We love them so much!

Birthday/ Birthday Party!!!!!

Well this is a little bit late but I'm going to write about it anyway because I haven't written in a while! Ok well last Wednesday January 14 was my birthday! FINALLY 15!!!!!! When I got up in the morning we had scripture study then we ended a little early and my dad asked me if I wanted to open a present this morning. I was getting an Itouch and I knew it because I had to pay for some of it but I didn't think it was going to be there yet because my mom said that it hadn't come yet and she called and everything and they said that it was going to be shipped today (which was Monday). I was really mad because it wasn't going to be there on my birthday and so I thought that it was going to be something really small because I wasn't getting very much. He made me play the "Hot and Cold" game to find my present. I found it under there pillows on there bed. It was a box and so I started opening it. Once I got the wrapping paper off I saw that it was from BYU Bookstore (that's where we got it from). I was like oh my gosh! It was a great surprise for something you knew that was coming but not at that moment! It turned out that my whole family knew it was here and I had been asking my mom for 2 weeks if it had come yet....turns out it came about 2, 3 days after we ordered it! UGH!! haha it was a great surprise though! Well After I was ready and such my mom and me went to go and get my PERMIT!!!! We got all the way down there, in the parking lot and my mom realizes she didn't bring my birth certificate or anything!! We had to go all the way back home then back up there again! My whole family all passed the test on there first try and I was so scared that I wasn't going to pass it! I studied for it but I was still scared I would be the only one who didn't pass it! Well I took the test and at the end of it, it said...... I PASSED!!!! WAHOO!!!! I was so happy I couldn't even stop smiling! haha the guy that was helping us was like oh your smiling...You must have passed!! Ah I was so happy! Well I got to school during 2ND period and just the normal day of school. When I got home I played with my Itouch and such and went driving with my dad. That night me and my family went out to dinner to the Pizza Factory. It was so good!

During dinner I opened the rest of my presents! I got some clothes, money, a piano book, and just some other random things! After dinner I went to Young Women's and then sadly my birthday was over. But the celebrating wasn't over! My friend Mikayla's birthday was on the 11Th and I was gonna have a birthday party and so I asked her if she wanted to have one with me so we had a double birthday party! It was lots of fun! We talked, played games, danced to music, and ate YUMMY CAKE!!! This was such a fun night! I have the BEST friends anyone could imagine!! I LOVE them all! haha there the best!!!! Sadly now the celebration is over but the driving is still in progress!!! haha I'm actually a pretty good driver if I do say so myself...Even my parents think so! haha well I will get the other pictures on as soon as I can!!

Christmas in HAWAII!!!!

MELE KALIKIMAKA!!!! That's how you say Merry Christmas in Hawaiian! Oh my this Christmas was so much fun!! My family, the Burninghams (our cousins) and grandma all went to Hawaii!! We left on Sunday the 21!! It was so much fun!!! Mom, me, Kirsten, Grandma, Laurie, Cole, Beau, and Derek...Remember this was at 3 in the morning! We were so tired!!

Finally to HAWAII!! It was so hot!

When we got there we got all of our luggage rented a 12 passenger van! haha that's right 12 passenger van, it was awesome!!! Then we were off to the KoOlina!!! Oh my this place is AMAZING!!!! I loved it!

We got there unpacked then headed up to Waikiki to see everything and go to dinner! We went to dinner at Zippy's. Its supposed to be an amazing Hawaiian restaurant but all I can say about it is.... GROSS!!!! I did not like it! haha after all of that we went back to the hotel and went to bed! On Monday we woke up at about 8 then we left to go shop at Waikiki then to go to lunch at McDonalds before going to the beach.

While at McDonalds I got a call and I didn't know the number so I didn't answer it. My brother then got a call from the same number and answered it... It was my brother Steven who is on a mission! He just said to check the email. It was so odd! My mom was in the bathroom and when she came out she said that he called her to but she didn't answer! She was so mad! But then he called her back on the way to the beach!! It was CRAZY!!!! We finally got to the beach at Hunamabay (if that's how you spell it...not sure). We snorkeled there it was fun! Then we were off to go back home. We stopped at the Gas station to get some food before we reached the hotel. On Tuesday we got up early then headed down to the North Shore area.

We first went to BYU Hawaii and looked around in there book store and things around there. Then we went to the HAWAII TEMPLE!!! This is my FAVORITE temple!! I LOVE IT!!!! I do have to say that it's a lot more prettier in pictures and far away but its still way pretty! After the temple we went to lunch at Taco Bell. After that we went to this Laia Beach lookout thing! It was cool! Then we went to the Polynesian Cultural Center! It was so cool!!!! I liked it a lot!!! We were there for like 6 hours! It was worth it though!

Then we headed back an hour to the hotel! On Wednesday we Went to Pounders Beach! The waves were SO big! We all went in the water to fight off the waves except for mom, Laurie and Grandma. They sat on the shore and watched! We were getting pounded by the waves! It was awesome!!

We left at about noon and headed up to Waimea Beach. The waves were way big here to but they were crashing on the shore so the lifeguards there were like don't let any little kids go in! It was way fun!! Except for there was a down side to all the fun... We got SO many things that were in the ocean in our swimming suits! It was so gross!! But it was worth it from having fun and an adventure with your family!!

If you think these aren't very big...they were!!! they were like 5-10 feet! and some were even bigger that aren't on here! It was CRAZY!!!

After the beaches we went to Matsumoto's an AMAZING shaved ice place! It was way good!!! Then we went to this other beach that had a bunch of turtles on the sand! It was cool we just went there to look at the turtle's but it was cool! Then we went to Costco to get food then back to the hotel! On Thursday, Christmas we woke up just sat around a while and then opened our few presents! We just exchanged gifts from the cousins our age like Beau and Derek, Me and Mikail, Cole and Kirsten all gave to each other! I got a hoodie from Mikail, I picked it out haha but I like it! Then we got money from my grandma! After that we went to our beach at the KoOlina! We layed out and snorkeled! At 12 we went back up to our room to call my brother Steven who's on a mission! He sounded way good! He has the biggest accent it doesn't sound like him but its so funny! After talking to him we went back out to the beach layed out and snorkeled some more! After that everyone had gone up to the room to shower and get ready except for me, my mom, my dad, and my brother Derek. Me and my mom decided to go up and we just got off the elevator and to our room and they announced on the intercome "You need to evacuate immediatly. Go to the nearest exit and evacuate!" It was so intense! We had to go down 12 flights of stairs and get out of the hotel! After about 10 minutes we got to go back in. It was from someone cooking in there rooms and something burnt and got into the hallway. After that experience we got ready then went out to try to find somewhere nice to eat for a Christmas dinner. Nothing was opened except for Zippy's..YUCK! We went there because thats the only place we could go! After eating we left back for the hotel! On Friday we stayed at our beach again! We snorkeled and layed out! haha when I was out snorkeling I saw a sea turtle!! It was so cool!! We swam with the Sea Turtle!! It was awesome! After we went back got ready then went to the mall at Waikiki then to Red Lobster for our nice day after Christmas dinner! haha Red Lobster is so good!!

Once we got out of Red Lobster some of the hotels in front of us all went black! We were like what?!?! We got in the car then started drving home. While we were driving EVERYTHING just goes black! Besides all of the car lights but the stop lights, street lights, hotels everything went out!!! We listened to the radio and they said that it was an island power outage from some lightening! There was only 1 town that still had power! We kept driving home and a town next to our hotel had power! We were so happy cuz we thought that we would have power! The girls had to go to the bathroom REALLY bad so we stopped at Zippy's to go to the bathroom. I wasn't going to say this in here but my mom told me I had to so here it goes.. When we all got in there, there was only 1 bathroom so my aunt Laurie said that we all were going to go in so it could go faster. It was me, Mikail, Laurie, my mom, and Kirsten so we all go in. Some of them went and while my aunt was going my mom said Brooke hurry and unbutton your pants so it can go faster... Of course with our luck someone was outside the door raddling on it to see if anyone was in there. We all started busting up laughing! We all went then walked out laughing so hard. Laurie stayed back to explain to the lady she said sorry we just came for Waikiki and we were dying! We laughed so hard that she actually explained to them! At this time it sure was a Christmas trip to remember..... haha We got to the hotel and we had power but it was just a generator. When we were in our room the power goes out again so it was like the generator failed and stuff. Since it was pitch black we all just went to bed. On Saturday we woke up and then went to the Swap Meet. It was fun!! We got lots of stuff! After the Swap Meet we went to this look out thing. It was cool! Me, Mikail, Cole, and Kirsten went down to the pool's to swim and stuff it was lots of fun!!

After that we went back up to the hotel to eat dinner and then watched TV. And took pictures of the sunset...So PRETTY!!!! On Sunday, our last day:( we got up packed, then took pictures at the hotel.

Then we went to Pearl Harbor!After we went to Pearl Harbor then Waikiki to go shopping a little bit. surfing in STYLE!! haha just kidding!We spent a couple of hours shopping then we went to dinner at Cheesburger in Paradise! It was way good!!! The best cheesburger place I've ever been to! Even better than In and Out!!! After that we headed to the airport to come home:( we came home on the red eye flight so it was over night. None of us slept! On Monday we were dead tired!!!!

It was such a fun trip! I'm sad but happy to be home! It was lots of fun to be with our family! But we did miss Ashley and Tyler! They couldn't come because it was there year to spend with Tyler's family! I am so happy to have the family that I do! We are all so much alike which makes it so much more fun! Even all of the car ride places were way fun just to talk and listen to Beau and Derek try to teach Cole how to get girls and what to do...All I can say is if he takes there advice he might not get any girls! Haha just kidding but it was funny to listen to them! Well MELE KALIKIMAKA!!!!
